Hello

My goal as a freelance photographer is to go out into the world and capture both nature and wildlife with my camera. I envision my work to showcase nature’s true beauty and inspire others to respect and nurture it.

My Story

Donna Chavez was born in Riverside, California. She is a freelance photographer who fell in love with the art while volunteering at a local animal shelter. She photographed the animals and displayed their photos on the shelter’s Facebook page to help them get adopted. Donna is retired from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. She is working on obtaining her associate degree in photography at Mt. San Jacinto College. She placed top of her class in photography, and her peers voted her portraits first and second place. Her accomplishments include publications in the Mt. San Jacinto College online Gallery and Murrieta Photography’s Facebook page. She is a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. She also volunteers at her local Animal Shelter, Riverside County Animal Rescue System, and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department’s Mounted Posse.

Donna enjoys spending time with her family and furry friends which include her dog, cats, and horses. A few of Donna's hobbies include photography, drawing, and horseback riding.
